A SMARTER WAY TO DETECT WHEN YOU ARE AWAY
iAway detects when you are away from your Mac in a smarter way utilizing computer vision. It can start your Screen Saver, send your Mac to sleep or run Apple Script when you are away and when you return. The App also comes with a location awareness feature, so you can choose to only trigger away actions at, or everywhere but, a certain location.
Users have always been able to manually set a time limit for when their Macs start a Screen Saver or go to sleep based on halted physical interaction like typing or moving the mouse. But iAway takes things a step further, improving the accuracy by adding motion and optional face detection. This is especially useful in corporate environments where a Screen needs to be locked within minutes of inactivity.

“I hated when I was reading an article or speaking in a meeting and my Screen Saver would suddenly activate by mistake and lock down my Mac. This is not only annoying but also distracting. iAway helps to avoid this situation from happening and is a very useful tool in my App collection. I also really like the location feature, I set it up to only use my Screen Saver when I am at work.”
